This pack makes NetRadiant compatible with Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy, and contain data for map entities etc.
It will only work with the Mac OSX version of NetRadiant.

This pack should contain two folders: "games" and "ja.game".
Be aware that there is a folder named "ja.game", and also a file named "ja.game" contained within the "games" folder.

Make sure to distinguish between the file and the folder when folioing the installation instructions.

Also included is a copy of Q3map2GUI for MacOSX.

Installation Instructions:

1. Locate your copies of the NetRadiant and Jedi Academy applications.

2. The file "games/ja.game" within this pack contains path information which you may need to update.
By default they expect both applications to be in the Applications folder on your internal harddrive.
The lines you may wish to edit begin with "enginepath", "enginepath_macos" and "gametools". Do not alter any other part of the file.

3. Right-click or Ctrl-click on your NetRadiant application and select "Show Package Contents".

4. A new window will appear. Within this window, navigate to "MacOS/install" and copy the "ja.game" folder to this location.

5. In the same location there is a folder named "games". Copy the file "ja.game" from the pack's "games" folder into NetRadiant's "games" folder.

6. Launch NetRadiant and select "Jedi Knight Jedi Academy" from the drop-down menu. If for some reason this menu does not appear,
bring up the preferences window in NetRadiant (press the P-key), go to "Global", then "Game" and select "Jedi Knight Jedi Academy"
from there instead.

Singleplayer

Mapping Instructions:

By default this pack is set up for Multiplayer maps. I have yet to come up with a clean solution to support both modes at once, so a small alteration
is required to the pack to change to the Singleplayer mode.

1. Make sure NetRadiant is not running, then right-click or Ctrl-click on your NetRadiant application and select "Show Package Contents".

2. Navigate to navigate to "MacOS/install/ja.game/base"

3. Delete "entities.def".

4. Make a copy of "sp_entites.def" and rename it to "entities.def".

5. Launch NetRadiant as normal.

In order to switch make to the Multiplayer mode, repeat these instructions except copy and rename "mp_entities"
instead of "sp_entities".

Bugs and Support:

This pack is not official, and is not flawless either. It is recommended that Q3map2GUI be used for compiling,
although most of the built-in compilation commands seem to work reasonably well.

If you encounter any problems with this pack,
email me at zachary.elliott-hatton1@virginmedia.com and I will endeavour to fix them for a future release.
